Since 2010 Jürgen Tenbrink is Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of EnviTec Biogas AG. Before joining in 2002 as technical manager for EnviTec, Tenbrink was Head of Biogas department at EnviTec Mall Umweltsysteme GmbH, where he has developed the segment decisively.

Born in Westphalia, Mr. Tenbrink can look back on more than twenty years of experience in plant engineering. After studying supply engineering with a focus on municipal and environmental technologies, the graduate engineer (FH) began his career in the early 1990s in an engineering office in Koblenz, where he designed plants in the field of landfill gas. From 1991 to 1997 Tenbrink was head of process technology for exhaust air and waste disposal at Geo Tec GmbH in Greven and from 1997-2000 Head of Aerobic Process Engineering at the waste plant builder Uhde Schwarting.

Tenbrink is married, has two adult sons and lives in Steinfurt. With his experience in the planning and technical development of biogas plants he is sought-after speaker, for example in the scope of meetings of the Association of German Engineers (VDI). In recent years he also developed in working groups of the VDI and the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) quality criteria for biogas plants.
