The companies DAH Group, BALANCE Renewable Energies, biogeen, Loick Bioenergy, NEXOGAS, EnviTec Biogas and Verbio together comprise almost 300 biogas plants, 800 MW of capacity and around half of Germany's biomethane production. With the aim of securing and expanding the contribution of biogas to a domestic, clean, secure and affordable energy supply, they have jointly drawn up a list of demands for the current amendment to the Energy Industry Act (EnWG):
